Ga-Mole-A Bar

During breakfast this morning, my four year old daughter pointed to what she was eating and asked if it gives people moles. I laughed and told her that it didn’t and she asked, “Then why do they call them ‘ga-MOLE-a bars’?”
Holding back about five minutes of laughter, I let her know that she was eating [...]

IV, Exercise And $300

I joined a research study. Yes, I’m a lab rat and I love it.
This study is funded by the Cancer Institute and it’s to show a correlation to mental wellness and exercise, which therefore, prevents cancer. It is the most interesting thing I have ever been a part of. I’ve been seen three times now [...]

My Birthday

I felt my [...]

Idols And Dinner

Having experienced Halloween at my son’s school, I was struck (yet again) by the ignorance and/or neglect of some of the parents. Why is it ever ok to allow your children in elementary school to dress like a murderer or look like a prostitute?? The parents of these children will be the ones asking what [...]
